I am playing a "Kehlet Folk" model. 
Top: Quilted German spruce
Back and sides: Walnut
Scale length: 650 mm 

The playability of this instrument is beyond anyother guitar i have had over the years. 
For an instrument this small it has a surprisingly long sustain and the intonation is just perfect.
This musical compagnion inspires my path of songwritig on a everyday bassis. 


This lovely Guitar is equipped with Headway's High-End Complete active under-saddle pick-up system with instrument-specific fixed EQ. and Combined with my headway preamp (Acoustic Preamp - EDB-1) I get a sound that just cuts through any mix while i am in concert. Great stuff.

Solid, flat-sawn highly-flamed handcarved and graduated Northern Michigan maple back
One piece, highly figured maple neck with dovetail joint at 15th fret, 29 frets
total

I have played Kentucky mandolins alot over the years but in December 2010 i got my new KM 1000 with a radiused fingerbord. 
I can't wait to use this intrument live.
