Hanging out in the fabulous Odd Fellows’ Palace on the second day of preproduction for the ‘Catch on Fire’ VR 360 music video.
Preparing for the great blast and getting the right energy into the location. Are we all set with lights and gear? Some crazy, wild stuff going on, switching between spherical and anamorphic lenses, creating a mesmerising night ball VR look… Oil-painted patriarchs wearing 3D goggles – VR humour in 2016. Jetlag, sleep deficit, and lots of fun!
Director Brett Leonard: ‘We’re making a video about the concept of the global human, virtual reality being the medium of that and Claes’ song being an anthem to it’. Shooting in two short days, so exciting!
