If you ask Claes Cem how best to experience his music, he will smile and say, “Join me at my next concert!” His live performance essence has been shaped by a life touring the road, connecting with new audiences from the Highlands of Scotland to the Turquoise Sea of the Caribbean.

Listening to his guitar-driven songs, it does not take long to realize that although he is a proud product of Scandinavia, his songs have been heavily inspired by the world of artists such as Paul Simon, Sting, Dave Matthews and John Mayer (albeit with his own uniquely Danish flavor!)

His music contains no frills - just pure, accessible music. In addition to winning "Best Singer" at the 2008's Emergenza contest in Copenhagen, Cem also returned to Scotland the following year for a collaboration tour with the Scottish band “Injuns.” 2009 also saw the release of a new single "Emotional Home," which brought Cem to the attention of Grammy Award winning engineer/producer Carlos Bedoya. Carlos and Claes then collaborated on the EP “Rosie,” the title song of which played on national radio in Denmark.
Carlos's past collaborators range from megastars like Mick Jagger, Missy Elliot to Beyonce. Together, Carlos and Claes are now working on a new album project, tentatively called the Momentum Project to be released on American soil later this year.
